2. Scope and Contract Formation

2.1 These Terms and Conditions apply to all contracts concluded via the online shop model-scene.com.

2.2 The presentation of products in the online shop does not constitute a legally binding offer, but an invitation to place an order.

2.3 By placing an order, the customer submits a binding offer. The contract is concluded when the seller confirms the order by email.

3. Prices and Taxes

3.1 All prices include VAT where applicable.

3.2 For deliveries outside the European Union, VAT is automatically deducted at checkout.

3.3 Import duties, taxes, and customs fees are not included in the price and must be paid by the customer (Delivered At Place – DAP).

4. Payment

4.1 Accepted payment methods:

• PayPal
• Bank transfer (EU only)

4.2 For customers outside the EU, payment is accepted via PayPal only.

4.3 PayPal payments are charged immediately upon placing the order.

4.4 In the case of bank transfer (SEPA), the customer shall wait for a proforma invoice sent by the seller before making the payment.

4.5 Payment is considered completed once the full amount has been credited to the seller’s account.

5. Delivery

5.1 Orders are dispatched within a maximum of 5 working days, typically within 2 working days.

5.2 Delivery time depends on the selected carrier and destination.

5.3 Shipping carriers:

• EU: DHL, GLS, national postal services
• Outside EU: national postal services
• USA: UPS

6. Right of Withdrawal (EU Consumers)

6.1 Consumers have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

6.2 The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day the customer receives the goods.

6.3 To exercise the right of withdrawal, the customer must inform the seller by email.

6.4 The customer bears the direct cost of returning the goods.

6.6 The seller will refund all payments received from the customer, including the cost of the least expensive standard delivery option originally offered, within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or proof that they have been sent back, whichever occurs first.

6.7 The returned goods must not be damaged and must not show signs of use beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and functioning. If the value of the goods has been diminished due to handling beyond this extent, the seller may reduce the refunded amount accordingly.

7. Warranty and Complaints

7.1 Consumers are entitled to a statutory warranty period of 24 months in accordance with applicable law.

7.2 Complaints should be sent to info@model-scene.com.

7.3 The seller will handle complaints without undue delay.

8. Retention of Title

The goods remain the property of the seller until full payment has been received.

9. Data Protection

Personal data is processed in accordance with applicable data protection laws. Further information is available in the Privacy Policy.

10. Online Dispute Resolution

The seller informs consumers that they may contact the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (Česká obchodní inspekce) for out-of-court consumer dispute resolution.

11. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic.

12. Final Provisions

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
